In 2019, we received two further Highly Commended awards for our subcontracting work on Apartment Sam Smith and Shelly Beach Hospital.
We have a fully equipped 1000m2 factory based in the heart of Marburg and with all the required machines, ranging from:
3x Panel saws, 2x Edge Banders, Rip Saws, Planers, Mortise & Tenon Machines, Drum Sander, etc. as well as a fully-equipped spray booth.
We have 5x Vehicles on the road ensuring we meet our client’s needs promptly.
Macsharp Timbers was established in 1984 in Port Shepstone by a Mr Wayne Sharp & Partner.
Lane Allan, a Cabinet Maker by trade with 16 years experience in the building industry, wanted to go back to his passion, so when the opportunity came along it was grabbed with both hands.
In March 2015 Lane & Kelly Allan purchased the business from Mr Sharp a full 31 years to the day after it was started. They were also fortunate enough to retain all the staff, many of whom have been there for several years.
